The Delhi State Legal Services Authority, in coordination with Delhi Traffic Police, will organise Lok Adalats for amicable settlement of traffic challans in all district court complexes on February 14. Special Delhi Lok Adalat 2026 is a special one-day drive organized by the Delhi Traffic Police to clear the backlog and pending challans. In case you have missed your registration, you can avail the option of walk-in and take the assistance of a lawyer to settle your pending challans. Some centres also allow walk-in settlements, so checking local announcements can save time.

The Lok Adalat will be held at district court complexes of Tis Hazari, Saket, Karkardooma, Patiala House, Rohini, Rouse Avenue and Dwarka on Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm, the traffic police said. In addition to these court complexes, other locations, including community centres and school premises might also being used as venues to carry out smooth settlement of traffic challans. If you have missed your registration, you can try and locate community centres, schools in your locality to settle your pending challans.

Vehicle owners in Delhi can settle pending traffic challans at the National Lok Adalat on February 14, Saturday. This initiative addresses minor violations like not wearing helmets or seatbelts, offering reduced fines or waivers. Excluded are serious offenses such as drunk driving. Delhi residents can register online via the Delhi Traffic Police website. Here are the steps you need to follow for online registration:


Visit the official Delhi Traffic Police website at traffic.delhipolice.gov.in

Click on the “Delhi State Legal Service Authority” option on the homepage.

The Lok Adalat Token Registration Form will appear.

Fill in the required details, including:

Full name

Contact number

Vehicle registration number

Details of pending challans

Review the information carefully and submit the form.

Upon successful submission, you will receive a token number and appointment letter via email or SMS. This token number is crucial for attending the Lok Adalat session.

A confirmation link along with a token download link will be displayed.

Incorrectly issued challans

Over-speeding Driving without a valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate

Driving without a valid license

No vehicle fitness certificate
