Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem has been replaced at his company, DP World, after the discovery of disturbing emails sent to the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Sultan, who donated £1million to Prince William's Earthshot Prize and has been deemed a "founding partner" of the initiative, which launched in 2020, reportedly quit his role amid the resurfaced emails.

DP World, a global logistics firm based in the UAE and owner of P&O Ferries, is listed as a founding partner on the Earthshot Prize website. In one email, discovered within the latest tranche of documents released within the Epstein files last month, Epstein wrote to Mr Sulayem: "Where are you? are you ok, I loved the torture video."

Although names have been redacted, Republican Representative Thomas Massie named Mr Sulayem as the recipient of the email this week.

The email from Epstein was sent in April 2009 when he was still serving an 18-month sentence for soliciting under-age sex.

Financial Times also reported that Mr Sulayem and Epstein frequently discussed their sexual experiences and sent images of women to each other. An email sent in 2013 also appeared to show Mr Sulayem detailing an individual's age, weight, height and bra size.

An email allegedly reads: "Dear Jeffrey This is the one I went with in Paris do you think she is a he??", to which Epstein replied: "the hands do look like mine".

In another email, dated September 2015, Mr Sulayem appears to have told Epstein about a "girl" he was seeing and reported it was "the best sex I ever had, amazing body".

Epstein sent the businessman a link to a website offering escorts in Italy two years later, to which Mr Sulayem responded with "Wow".

Prince William has been pictured with Mr Sulayem in public on several occasions, including at the 2022 Earthshot Prize in Dubai.
