India is going to host an important Artificial Intelligence (AI) summit this week, titled ‘India AI Impact Summit 2026’. This summit will run from 16 to 20 February, and it will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 16 February at 5 pm.

The summit will also feature an AI Expo, which is being presented as a national platform to showcase how AI is being used in real life. The use of AI in various sectors like healthcare, government services, agriculture, education, and business will be showcased so that people can understand how practical AI solutions work and how the regulations are being implemented.

What can be seen in the expo?

The expo will have more than 300 specially designed exhibition pavilions where live demos of AI products and solutions will be presented. These pavilions will be based on three main themes—People, Earth, and Progress—with a focus on citizen services, sustainability, and industrial innovation.

More than 600 startups will also participate in the event, many of which have already implemented their AI solutions on a large scale. Demos like Smart Governance, Health Tech, Agriculture AI, Robotics, Language Model and Enterprise Automation will be seen here.

The expo will also have pavilions from 13 countries, including the UK, Japan, France, Germany and Australia. These pavilions will provide an opportunity to showcase global partnerships and collective AI research.

Summit Sessions and Speakers

The India AI Impact Summit will have over 500 sessions with over 3,000 experts and panelists from across technology and policy. These discussions will discuss AI regulations, infrastructure, innovation, and development of AI in India, which will make it clear how this technology is making an important place in the lives of the general public.
