Ranchi: The tenure of NSUI National President Varun Chaudhary has been completed. After this, the process of selection of the new national president has started in the organization. 62 candidates from all over India had submitted applications. After the scrutiny process, 15 of these candidates have been selected. These include Vinay Oraon, the current state president of Jharkhand NSUI.

Vinay Oraon is the first and only tribal candidate in the entire country. All 15 candidates were interviewed by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and NSUI national in-charge Kanhaiya Kumar in New Delhi. Rahul Gandhi also took a personal interview of Vinay Oraon.
