The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) is accepting applications from eligible candidates for the post of PGT Computer Science Teacher. Candidates interested in PGT positions in Haryana can apply for the PGT Computer Science Teacher position by visiting the HPSC's official website. A total of 1,672 PGT positions will be filled through this recruitment drive. The deadline for applying for these positions is March 9th.
Who Can Apply?
To apply for the PGT Computer Science Teacher position, candidates must have completed an MSc in Computer Science, BE, BTech in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks.
Candidates must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit in grades 10th and 12th.
Candidates must have passed the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or School Teacher Eligibility Test (STET).
The minimum age for applying is 18 years, and the maximum age is 42 years. However, age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories.
How will the selection process be conducted?
Candidates will be selected based on a written examination. The written examination will consist of 100 questions carrying 100 marks. The duration of the examination is two hours. Negative marking of one-quarter marks will be applied for each wrong answer. A subject knowledge test will also be conducted for candidates. This examination will consist of 150 questions. Candidates selected in this examination will be called for an interview.
Candidates interested in PGT positions are advised to complete the application process before the deadline. Otherwise, they will not be considered for a later opportunity.
