The Goa Staff Selection Commission has opened the online application process for various positions, including Forest Officer, Platoon Commander, and Round Forester. Candidates awaiting the official notification can now apply by visiting the Goa Commission's official website, gssc.goa.gov.in. The deadline for applying for various positions is March 13, 2025.

Who Can Apply?
The age limit for applying for various positions is determined by the post. The maximum age for candidates is 25, 28, 30, 35, and 45 years, depending on the position. However, age relaxation is available for reserved category candidates.
Educational qualifications are determined by the post. Candidates must have completed the 12th standard from a recognized institution in India. Additionally, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and other required qualifications.

How will the selection process be conducted?
Candidates will be selected based on a CBT-1 and CBT-2 exam. In the CBT-1 exam, candidates will be required to solve 60 questions within 75 minutes. Candidates who pass this exam will be called for the CBT-2 exam. In the CBT-2 exam, candidates will be asked questions worth 80 marks. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

To pass the exam, unreserved category candidates must obtain 45 percent marks, OBC candidates 40 percent, and SC and ST candidates 35 percent.
