Yogi Adityanath Secures Rs 6,650-Crore Investment for Uttar Pradesh in Singapore

During the first day of his official visit to Singapore, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath successfully secured three memoranda of understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 6,650 crore with Universal Success Group. These agreements are aimed at investments in group housing, a logistics park, and a hyperscale data centre in Uttar Pradesh.

The proposed projects are expected to generate over 20,000 jobs and further enhance the state's industrial infrastructure and urban development, according to a statement from the government.

Key Details of the MoUs

The CM highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s policy stability, improving connectivity, and its rapidly expanding industrial ecosystem to attract investors. He also invited the Universal Success Group to visit Lucknow to explore data centre opportunities and assured full support from the state government.

Breakdown of the Projects:

1. International Theme-Based Township:
  • Investment: Rs 3,500 crore
  • Location: 100 acres near Jewar International Airport (Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Area)
  • Expected Jobs: 12,000
  • Launch: 2027

2. Logistics Park Development:

  • Investment: Rs 650 crore
  • Location: 50 acres along the Kanpur-Lucknow Highway
  • Expected Jobs: 7,500
  • Launch: 2027

3. Hyperscale Data Centre Park:

  • Investment: Rs 2,500 crore
  • Location: 10 acres in Noida/Greater Noida
  • Expected Jobs: 1,500
  • Launch: 2028

Officials called these agreements a significant step toward boosting Uttar Pradesh's economy, accelerating urban growth, and creating large-scale employment opportunities.
