EPFO also provides missed call service to the employees. Give a missed call to 9966044425 from your registered mobile number. The call will be disconnected automatically. After a few seconds you will get PF balance information through SMS. Things to keep in mind: Your mobile number should be linked to the EPF account. It is necessary to update KYC like Aadhaar, PAN or bank details.

    Method 2: Know PF balance through SMS

    You can also check PF balance through SMS. Send SMS from your registered mobile: EPFOHO ENG to 7738299899. Here ENG stands for language. If you want information in Hindi then you can write HIN. After some time, the message of PF balance will come on your phone.

    Method 3: Through EPFO ​​portal

    You can also get information by visiting the official website of Employees’ Provident Fund Organization. Visit the official website of EPFO. Go to the For Employees section. Select Know Your Claim Status or Member Passbook option. Here you can get information through your registered mobile number or other details. Although many times UAN is required in this method, but if your mobile number is linked then some information can be obtained even without UAN.

    Method 4: Information from UMANG App

    Government’s UMANG app also provides PF services. Download UMANG App from Google Play Store or App Store. Login with mobile number. Select EPFO ​​services. View balance or passbook from there. If your mobile number is linked then you can get information from here also.

    Your mobile number should be linked to the EPF account. It is necessary to update KYC. Information will not be received if you call or SMS from the wrong number. If the mobile number has changed then get it updated first.
