What is Kharoda?

In the regional language, Kharora means foot of goat or sheep. The goat's feet are cleaned and cooked for a long time, due to which the natural juices coming out of the bones and veins make this soup delicious as well as nutritious. Villagers believe that Kharoda soup is not only delicious in taste but it not only provides warmth to the body but is also a good source of strength and energy.

Along with joint pain, weakness and fatigue in winter, it is also considered beneficial for bones. However, patients with high BP or cholesterol are advised to consume it in limited quantities only.
