Maruti Suzuki and Vitara – Buying an electric car has now become a sensible decision, not just a trend. Especially when the country’s largest carmaker landed with its first full-electric SUV. Yes, Maruti Suzuki e Vitara is now officially launched, and its variant-wise prices have also surfaced.
The company has also introduced it with the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, making the initial price even more affordable. So let’s understand in easy language how many variants will be found and what is special in that.
The initial price of Maruti Suzuki e Vitara is ₹15.99 lakhs (ex-showroom) without BaaS. But if you choose the BaaS model, the base variant will only be found in ₹10.99 lakhs. ₹3.99 per kilometer will then have to be paid for the battery.
This model is special for those who want to buy an electric SUV in a low initial budget. Overall, the price of e Vitara makes it more affordable than trains like Hyundai Creta Electric and Mahindra BE 6.
Delta variant is the entry-level model of the e Vitara, priced at ₹15.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). With BaaS it is available in ₹10.99 lakhs.
This variant gets a 49 kWh battery pack, which gives 144 bhp power and 193 Nm torque through the PMS motor. Its range is stated to be 440 kilometers.
Although it is a base model, it still has many essential features. But it does not get features like 10-way power adjustable driver seat, leather upholstery, wireless charger, cruise control, sunroof and Level 2 ADAS.
Zeta variant Price at ₹17.49 lakhs (ex-showroom). With BaaS its price starts at ₹11.99 lakhs, and will have to pay a charge of ₹4.39 per kilometer.
It gets a large 61 kWh battery pack, which generates power of 171.6 bhp and torque of 193 Nm. It has a range of up to 543 kilometers, making it a better choice for long distances.

It is better than Delta in terms of features, but it still lacks some premium features such as Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, ventilated seats and sunroof.
Let me tell you that the Alpha variant is the top model of this lineup, priced at ₹19.79 lakhs (ex-showroom). In the BaaS model it is available in ₹14.29 lakhs, and ₹4.39 per kilometer battery charge has to be given.
All premium features are found in this variant. Features such as Level 2 ADAS, leather upholstery, 10-way power adjustable driver seat, cruise control, ventilated seats, fixed glass sunroof, 360-degree camera and dual-tone exterior make it a complete premium.
