New Delhi: Indian Motorcycle have unveiled a set of limited-edition, hand-painted models with exclusive anniversary badging and detailing to mark their 125th anniversary. There are three limited-run models, which include Chief Vintage, Scout Bobber, and Challenger.
Each model comes with a hand-painted red-and-black 125th Anniversary paint scheme, complemented with pinstripes, exclusive badging and an individually numbered serial plate. Both the Chief Vintage and Indian Challenger 125th Anniversary Editions will be limited to 250 units globally. The Scout Bobber will be available for 450 units globally.
In terms of mechanics, technology and features, the bikes remain the same with the standard versions.
Indian Motorcycle has also brought a complementary limited-run apparel collection that is identical in terms of colour palette and design details to the 125th Anniversary motorcycles. Much like the bikes, each apparel item incorporates the special-edition 125th graphics in its prints, embroidery and patches.
In bikes, special editions, and celebrating milestones have been on the rise in more recent times. This includes TVS Apache 20th Anniversary Edition, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Anniversary Edition, which celebrated two decades of the Apache brand, and Royal Enfield 120th Anniversary Edition, which features limited edition finishes for Interceptor 650 & Continental GT 650. Overall, these have been well perceived by customers and fans of the brands.
