Vipul Shah ki film 'The Kerala Story 2' ne box office pe dhoom macha di hai. But the makers appealed, got the stay removed, and even released the film on the evening of February 27. The film made ₹75 lakh on its first day.

Kamakhya Narayan Singh's direction, 'The Kerala Story 2', saw a bumper jump in its earnings on the second day. It grew by almost 520% from Day 1, earning about ₹4.65 crore. With this, the film's total collection is now around ₹5.40 crore.

'The Kerala Story 2' had an overall occupancy of 11.99% on its first day. This increased to 12.20% on the second day. On Saturday, the morning, afternoon, evening, and night shows had occupancies of 6.45%, 11.88%, 11.42%, and 19.05% respectively.

The story of 'The Kerala Story 2' is based on 'Love Jihad'. Because of its controversial topic, the Kerala High Court had put a temporary 15-day stay on its release. The court also asked the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to review it again. But, after the makers appealed, the film was released on the evening of February 27.

The film 'The Kerala Story 2' stars actors like Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia, Aishwarya Ojha, Sumit Gahlawat, Arjan Singh Aujla, and Yuktam Khosla. Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Amarnath Jha have written the screenplay for the film.
