Hidden in Yorkshire is a stunning town that's so pretty it's even been used as a location for a popular film. Wuthering Heights has taken to the screens this February, with fans flocking to the cinema to watch the star-studded hit.
It's no secret that the book, by Emily Brontë and the film, by Emerald Fennell, are known for the famous setting of the Yorkshire Moors. But there's one small village that was used as a set that's often overlooked. The village of Low Row is situated on the banks of the River Swale and it is surrounded by stunning countryside.
The village has become a hotspot for nature lovers and it's a stunning village to visit, with traditional stone-built cottages, a pub, and a village hall.
One must-visit place in the village is the Swaledale Museum which is located in the village hall.
The museum holds the story of the local area, including the history of lead mining, farming, and the people who have lived in the area over the centuries.
It has a collection of artifacts and exhibits that showcase the local culture and heritage.
While the village is only small, it is a perfect base for exploring the surrounding countryside.
From the area, you can take one of the surrounding walking and cycling routes such as the Coast to Coast Walk and the Pennine Way.
In its surrounding areas, you can enjoy a number of other attractions, such as the Aysgarth Falls, the Wensleydale Creamery, and the market town of Hawes.
Discover Britain says: "This small, typical moorland village in Swaledale features traditional Yorkshire stone cottages and sweeping moorland views, and captures the wild feel of Wuthering Heights in its entirety.

"The village was chosen as a filming location for the 2026 adaptation for its unspoiled houses and quiet lanes, and features in many of the village scenes in the film."
Visitors enjoy walking along the moors and experiencing the real moorland which inspired Emily and her sisters.
Another must-visit spot is the 17th-century Punchbowl Inn, which is a favourite for tourists.
If you're looking to step into the scene of a film, Low Row is the spot for you.
