The team stunned the heavyweights Karnataka in the final, earning a massive first-innings lead and showing their dominance wasn’t a one-season wonder. Captain Paras Dogra led from the front with crucial runs, while Abdul Samad and Shubham Pundir delivered when it mattered most.

Madhya Pradesh’s Saransh Jain once again proved why he is one of the most dependable all-rounders in the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy season. In seven matches, he performed consistently with both bat and ball.
With the bat, the left-hander scored 518 runs at an average of 57.55, including an unbeaten 103 and three half-centuries. His contributions at the lower order often rescued MP from tough situations. Equally effective with the ball, his off-spin fetched him 30 wickets at an average of 20.43, with best figures of 6/75. He also registered two five-wicket hauls.
2. Shreyas GopalShreyas Gopal enjoyed an exceptional 2025-26 Ranji Trophy season, spearheading Karnataka to the final with his all-round brilliance. The leg-spinning all-rounder was the backbone of the bowling attack, picking up 48 wickets in 10 matches at an average of 23.14, including a best of 8/110. Whenever Karnataka needed breakthroughs, Gopal delivered, often bowling long spells to keep the opposition under pressure.
With the bat, he was equally valuable, scoring 469 runs at an average of 33.50, including five half-centuries.
A major highlight of his campaign was completing 300 first-class wickets during the semifinal. Though the team fell short in the final, Gopal personally grabbed immense headlines.

Auqib Nabi was the hero of Jammu and Kashmir’s historic Ranji Trophy triumph, playing a crucial role in the team’s maiden title win. The star pacer finished the 2025-26 season as the leading wicket-taker with 60 wickets in just 10 matches at an average of 12.56. His tally included two four-wicket hauls and seven five-fors, with best figures of 7/24.
Nabi reserved his best for the knockout stages. In the quarterfinal, he claimed 12 wickets, including a seven-for, before following it up with a nine-wicket match haul in the semifinal. In the final, his five-wicket haul dismantled a star-studded Karnataka batting line-up and sealed the title based on a first-innings lead. With the bat, he contributed 245 runs and won the Player of the Series.
