News India Live, Digital Desk: Students of a management college in Pune had gone to Dubai for their ‘Industrial Tour’. During their return flights were stopped due to security reasons after the sudden outbreak of war and missile attacks by Iran, leaving these students stranded there.

How did this crisis arise?

After the increasing military conflict between Iran and Israel, countries like Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon have adopted Airspace Is completely closed.

Flight Cancellation: The plane by which the students were to return to India was not given permission for take-off due to security reasons.

Route Diversion: Many international flights have been turned back midway or grounded due to lack of alternative routes.

Condition of students at the airport

According to reports, students have been spending time at the Dubai Airport terminal for the last several hours.

Appeal from family members: Parents of students living in Pune have appealed to the Government of India and the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to arrange a ‘special flight’ to bring back their children safely as soon as possible.

The Indian Consulate General (Consulate General of India) located in Dubai is keeping an eye on this situation.

Due to the Middle East crisis, not only these students from Pune, but thousands of passengers are stranded at airports across the world. Indian airlines like Air India, IndiGo and Vistara have also changed the routes of their flights to Europe, increasing the travel time by 2 to 3 hours.
