A total of 245 seats will be filled in this recruitment drive. The number of positions has been determined according to the different trades. Fitters, Electricians, and Electronics Mechanics have the highest number of positions, 68 each. Additionally, there are 10 positions for Programming and System Administration Assistant, 10 for Turner, 10 for Machinist, and 11 for Welder. This means that if you have completed an ITI in these trades, you have a good chance.
What are the required qualifications?
To apply for these apprentice positions at NPCIL, candidates must have an ITI in the relevant trade. For a fitter position, an ITI in the fitter trade is required, for an electrician, an ITI in the electrician trade is required, for an electronics mechanic, an ITI in the same trade is required, and for a COPA position, an ITI in the COPA trade is required. Similarly, for the Turner, Machinist, and Welder positions, ITI in the relevant trade is also mandatory.
What should be the age limit?
Candidates applying for apprentice positions in this recruitment must be between 18 and 24 years of age. Relaxations will be given to reserved category candidates as per government rules.
How much stipend will be received?
Selected candidates will undergo one year of training. During this period, they will receive a monthly stipend of ₹9,600.
