The decision to send Vinod Tawde to Rajya Sabha is being considered as a reward for his dedication towards the organization. He is currently in-charge of Bihar and is playing an important role for the party at the national level.
2. Ramdas Athawale: Strength of alliance
Ramdas Athawale’s tenure was ending in April. By making him a candidate again, BJP has tried to give a positive message towards the Dalit community and its alliance ‘Mahayuti’.
3. Social and regional balance (Social Engineering)
OBC and Tribal Card: Through Maya Ivanate and Ramrao Wadkute, BJP has tried to woo Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Class (OBC) voters.
