Drivers on the M6 are facing rush hour chaos as a lorry on the M6 spilled its load. Three lanes out of four were closed on the M6 between junctions J14 and J15. Lengthy queues have already formed ahead of rush hour as a result.
A representative for National Highways stated: "Lane closures being installed. Allow extra journey time as likely to cause long delays this morning." Later in the morning, the organisation added: "Allow extra journey time as likely to cause long delays this morning. Lanes 1,2 and 3 of (4) are closed on the M6 north J14 (Stafford) - J15 (StokeOnTrent) as a HGV has spilt its load of offal across the carriageway. Traffic Officers are on scene with specialist contractors en-route to begin the clean-up work at the scene."
