Glamorous Wedding Reception in Hyderabad

Bollywood came out in full force to celebrate the wedding reception of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, following their nuptials in Udaipur on February 26. The reception, held in Hyderabad, was a star-studded affair with notable figures from various film industries across India. Celebrities from the South Indian cinema, including Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Ravi Teja, and Sreeleela, were present, alongside Bollywood personalities like Mrunal Thakur, Karan Johar, Dinesh Vijan, Mukesh Chhabra, and Kriti Sanon, who starred with Rashmika in Cocktail 2.

Details of the Wedding Festivities

The couple's celebrations kicked off with a three-day event that included a haldi and mehendi ceremony on February 24, followed by a sangeet on February 25 in Udaipur. Their wedding blended both Kodava and Telugu traditions. While the ceremony was intimate, the reception was an invite-only event that welcomed numerous guests from the Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada film industries, as well as political figures and other distinguished guests.

For the reception, Rashmika dazzled in a red Mysore silk saree adorned with a black and gold border, complemented by traditional gold jewelry and a long braid. Vijay, on the other hand, opted for a veshti-shirt ensemble, accentuated by his handlebar moustache, as he prepares for his upcoming film Ranabaali, where Rashmika will star alongside him.

Bollywood Celebrities Shine at the Reception

Kriti Sanon turned heads in a stunning black lehenga with a belt, attending the reception of her Cocktail 2 co-star. The romantic comedy, directed by Homi Adajania, is set to release later this year. Producer Karan Johar, who supported Vijay's Bollywood debut Liger in 2022, looked dapper in a white suit. Director Vikas Bahl, who collaborated with Rashmika on her first Bollywood film Goodbye, was also spotted on the red carpet alongside casting director Mukesh Chhabra.
