The deadline to apply for Assistant positions at the Reserve Bank of India is near. Candidates who have not yet applied can complete the online registration process by visiting the RBI's official website. A total of 650 candidates will be selected through this recruitment process. Who Can Apply?
Candidates' age will be calculated as of February 1, 2026. The minimum age for applying is 20 years, and the maximum age is 28 years.
Age relaxation will also be available for reserved category candidates. SC and ST candidates will receive a five-year relaxation, OBC candidates will receive a three-year relaxation, and disabled candidates will receive a 10-year relaxation.
To apply for Assistant positions, candidates must have completed graduation with a minimum of 50% marks.
How will the selection be conducted?
Candidates will be selected based on a preliminary examination, a main examination, and a language proficiency test. In the preliminary examination, candidates will be asked 100 questions from English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning, each carrying 100 marks. The examination will be conducted for one hour. Candidates selected in this examination will be called for the main examination, which will carry a total of 200 marks.
Salary Scale
Candidates selected for this position will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹29,000 to ₹78,640.
Registration Fee
To apply, candidates in the General, OBC, and EWS categories will have to pay ₹450, and SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates will have to pay ₹50 as a registration fee.
Exam Dates
The RBI will conduct the preliminary examination on April 11th, and the main examination on June 7th, 2026.
