Sahara Refund: There's great news for Sahara India investors! If your money is stuck in Sahara societies, you can now claim a refund of up to ₹10 lakh. Previously, this facility was only available for those with small deposits.
Sahara Refund: This news is no less than a major relief for Sahara India investors. If your money is stuck in the Sahara societies, the path to getting your earnings back has become even clearer. Until now, only small investors (with small deposits) were able to apply on the Sahara Refund portal. However, the government has now increased the limit.
On the initiative of Home Minister Amit Shah, those with deposits up to ₹10 lakh can now also request their money back. This is a ray of hope for millions of families whose life savings were stuck in these societies.
Money will be returned from these 4 societies.
If you invested in these four societies, you are entitled to a refund.

What is the process for getting your money back?
The entire refund process is online; you don't need to visit any office.
Visit the portal: First, log in to the 'CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal'.
Have documents ready: You must have your Aadhaar card and the mobile number linked to it. Without these, your application will not be processed.
PAN card required: If your claim is for more than ₹50,000, uploading your PAN card is mandatory.
Receipt and Bond: Keep the original investment receipt, membership number, and scanned copy of your passbook.
Special Note: If you previously applied and your form was rejected due to a deficiency, you can now correct it and resubmit.
How long will it take to receive the money?
The government has set a 45-day deadline for this process.
First 30 days: Sahara Society will verify your documents to ensure they match their records.
Next 15 days: Government officials will approve your claim, and the money will be transferred directly to your Aadhaar-linked bank account.
Take special care of these 3 things:
Fill in all the details at once: If you have multiple Sahara bonds or receipts, fill them all in a single application. There is no need to fill out multiple forms for different receipts.
Avoid spelling mistakes: Claims are often rejected due to minor mistakes in the name or receipt number. Double-check the form before submitting it.
Real proof required: Refunds will only be available to those who have original investment documents and whose data matches the portal.
