Tension at its peak in West Asia: Iran rejects America’s demand for “unconditional surrender”

Tehran. Amidst the increasing tension in West Asia, Iranian President Masoud Pejeshkian has completely rejected America’s demand in which Iran was asked to surrender unconditionally. He said that having such a hope is “an impossible dream” and Iran is not going to bow to any pressure.

Expressed regret over attacks on neighboring countries-
In his statement, President Pejeshkian also expressed regret for the recent attacks on regional countries. He said that the attacks on some Gulf countries were due to misunderstanding and Iran will try to prevent such incidents in future, provided that no attack is made on Iran from the soil of these countries. According to Iranian media, this decision has been approved by Iran’s Interim Leadership Council.

Putin appealed for peace-
Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke on phone with the President of Iran. Putin stressed on immediately stopping the ongoing conflict in the region and finding solutions through political-diplomatic paths. He called upon all parties to exercise restraint and resolve the dispute through dialogue.

America warned of a major attack on Iran-
US Finance Minister Scott Besant said in a conversation with Fox News that on Saturday night, the biggest attack ever will be launched on Iran. The aim of this attack is to damage Iran’s missile launchers and missile manufacturing facilities.

Emergency conference of Arab League-
Arab League foreign ministers will hold an emergency meeting via video conference on Sunday regarding the Iranian attacks. Regional security and recent attacks will be discussed in this meeting. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Jordan and Egypt have together demanded this meeting.

Tension increased in West Asia-
In recent incidents that began on February 28, Iran has targeted 13 countries in West Asia, including Israel. The international community is closely monitoring Iran’s military activities amid increasing confrontation with the US and its allies.
