Several Indian carriers have announced their flight operations for Sunday, 8 March 2026, as airlines continue to adapt schedules due to evolving conditions in parts of West Asia. Air India, Air India Express, IndiGo and SpiceJet are adjusting services to support passengers amid ongoing airspace restrictions.

Air India and Air India Express: Focus on Middle East and UAE

Air India and Air India Express confirmed that flights to Jeddah and Muscat will continue as usual, thanks to open airspace over Saudi Arabia and Oman.


With airspace over Saudi Arabia and Oman remaining open, Air India and Air India Express continue to operate their scheduled services to and from Jeddah and Muscat, the airline stated.

In addition, both carriers are operating extra non-scheduled flights to UAE cities, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, and Muscat, primarily to assist stranded passengers. Priority will be given to those with existing bookings.

Flights to Bahrain, Dammam, Doha, Kuwait and Riyadh remain cancelled on Air India Express until 13 March, while Air India’s services to Dammam, Doha and Riyadh are cancelled until 10 March. Passengers can rebook or claim full refunds.

IndiGo: Europe Resumes, Middle East Continues

IndiGo is resuming Europe operations on 8 March while maintaining services to eight destinations in the Middle East. The airline warned passengers that schedules may change on short notice.
