Ian Huntley's daughter has called for the killer's ashes to be flushed down a toilet. Samantha Bryan said Huntley doesn't deserve a funeral or grave and the "devil is waiting for him" in hell.
Huntley died in hospital after being attacked in the workshop of maximum security HMP Frankland in Durham on February 26. The 52-year-old suffered severe brain trauma in the attack. His life support was switched off at lunchtime on Friday after brain tests showed he was in a vegetative state. His death was confirmed on Saturday.
Ms Bryan told The Sun on Sunday: 'He shouldn't have the dignity of a funeral and grave... There's no point having a funeral as he'll burn in hell. There is no place for him in heaven. The devil is waiting."
She added that she didn't want a grave where "freaks or weirdos" could go to pay Huntley "some kind of twisted respect".
Katie Bryan, Ms Bryan's mother, was the first to tell her that Huntley's life support had been turned off.
Ms Bryan said when she heard the news she felt relieved and "over the moon" even though part of her wanted him to be alive to continue suffering for his crimes.
Huntley had refused Ms Bryan's requests to meet him when she first discovered he was her dad while researching a school project at the age of 14.

But Ms Bryan said she would not wallow in the fact she never met the former school caretaker.
Huntley murdered Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman after they left a family barbecue to buy sweets in Soham, Cambridgeshire, on August 4 2002. He dumped their bodies in a ditch 10 miles away.
The girls' disappearance prompted a search involving hundreds of police officers. They remained unfound for 13 days.
At the time, Huntley lived with Maxine Carr, who was a teaching assistant at Holly and Jessica's primary school.
He denied murdering the two 10-year-olds, but was convicted after a trial at the Old Bailey in 2003.
Carr gave Huntley a false alibi and was jailed for 21 months for perverting the course of justice. She is now living under a new identity.
Huntley and Carr often spoke to reporters during the search for the girls. Huntley had told them he thought he was one of the last people to see them alive while Carr said she would always keep a card Holly had drawn for her.
The former school caretaker's life sentence recommended he serve at least 40 years for the Soham murders.
While in prison, Huntley survived repeated attempts on his life. He was kept under close protection along with other notorious killers. In one incident in 2010, his throat was slashed by another inmate.
In a statement confirming Huntley's death, the Ministry of Justice said: "The murders of remains one of the most shocking and devastating cases in our nation's history, and our thoughts are with their families."
Durham Constabulary is investigating Huntley's death and a file is being prepared for the Crown Prosecution Service for consideration for charges.
Murderer and rapist Anthony Russell, 43, is reported to have attacked Huntley.
