Alpha Date Locked: Yash Raj Films’ spy thriller film Alpha has been in the news for a long time. Many kinds of things were being talked about the film. It was being said that Yash Raj Films’ movies are flopping at the box office, hence the upcoming film Alpha will be released on OTT. However, by sharing the latest information to the movie on Monday, the makers dismissed all the rumors. Alia Bhatt, who is playing the lead role in the film, shared a post on Instagram and told on which day the film is being released in theatres.

When will the spy thriller film Alpha be released?
Alia Bhatt’s film Alpha will be released in theaters only, as was already decided. The filmmakers have quashed rumors of its OTT release by announcing a new release date. Yash Raj Films’ Alpha stars Sharvari Wagh, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in lead roles. Bobby is playing the role of a dreaded villain in the film and Alia will be seen fighting with him. Let us tell you that the film will be released on the big screen on July 10. It was initially planned to be released on April 17, but its release date was postponed to avoid clash with Salman Khan’s film Battle of Galwan.
Earlier, this spy thriller film starring Alia and Sharvari was scheduled to be released in theaters on Christmas 2025. The production house shared the official update on its Instagram handle and also released a new poster of Alpha. Posting on her Instagram, Alia wrote – #ALPHA 10.07.2026 See you in theatres.” Let us tell you that earlier media reports had said that the producers of Alia and Sharvari’s film were planning to release it directly on Netflix. A source told Variety India that the streaming platform had offered Rs 215 crore for the digital release of Alpha. However, the producers rejected this offer.
