A Unique Plea from a Son

In a surprising turn of events in Aharoula, Azamgarh, a 12th-grade student has taken a stand at the police station to halt his father's impending seventh marriage. The young man has urgently appealed to the authorities, stating, 'Sir, please stop my father; he is determined to go through with it.'

This unusual situation unfolds in a village where a 55-year-old man faces serious allegations from his own son. According to the son, his father has already been married six times, and intriguingly, he himself is the child of the father's third wife.

The son revealed that his father had tied the knot for the sixth time earlier this year, but that marriage ended shortly after, with the wife leaving due to demands for land and jewelry. Despite this, the father is now preparing to marry for the seventh time.

Financial Strain and Marriage Plans

The son's concerns extend beyond his father's marital choices; he is also troubled by their family's declining financial situation. Allegations suggest that the father, in his old age, is becoming increasingly irrational. To fund his seventh wedding, he is reportedly willing to sell ancestral land. The son claims that his father has already accepted an advance of 50,000 rupees for the land sale. Alarmingly, the father has previously mortgaged half of their land, and the son has been responsible for repaying that debt.

Investigating the Underlying Issues

When this case reached the attention of SP Rural Chirag Jain, it took an unexpected turn. The police suspect that this situation may not solely revolve around multiple marriages but could also involve disputes over land and property. Currently, the authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the marriage records and the land transactions.
