It helps your funds accumulate and doesn't impact you much, as EPF funds are deducted from your monthly salary first, making it less of a hassle. But checking your PF balance can be cumbersome. But that's no longer the case. Now, checking your EPF (Employees' Provident Fund) balance is as easy as checking your home locker. There's no need to travel anywhere or stand in long queues. You can check your PF balance from the comfort of your home with a few simple steps.

Check your balance by giving a missed call.
To check your EPF account balance, simply give a missed call to 9966-044425 from your registered mobile number. After making the missed call, you'll receive an SMS with your PF balance.

Check your balance by sending an SMS.
To check your PF balance via SMS, type "EPFO UAN LAN" and send it to 7738299899. UAN is your Universal Account Number, and LAN is the language code, such as ENG, HIN, PAN, etc. You will then receive your PF balance via SMS.

Check your balance via a mobile app.
If you want to view your PF balance and a detailed account of your entire passbook, you can download the Umang app on your mobile. Open the Umang app, type "EPFO" in the search box, and click on the "View Passbook" option. An OTP will be sent to your mobile. Enter it and press "Submit." Select "Member Passbook." Here, you will find complete information about your PF passbook and balance. You can also download the passbook if you wish.

Check via the EPFO website.
You can also check your PF passbook and balance by visiting the EPFO website. Visit the EPFO website (epfo.gov.in), scroll down and click on ‘EPFO and You’ in the EPFO Services section, now select For Employees, click on Member Passbook in the next screen, now a new page will open where you have to log in by entering UAN number, password, captcha code, and
