People in several Pakistani cities welcomed the appointment of Mojtaba Khamenei as Iran’s new supreme leader after the death of his father Ali Khamenei. Reports from Karachi and Lahore showed supporters congratulating Iran and expressing solidarity during the ongoing regional conflict.
