Kanpur. Cricketer Amit Mishra’s wife has made serious allegations against him. Model Garima Tiwari has filed a complaint against the cricketer and his family members in the court of Additional Civil Judge Senior Division. Garima has accused her in-laws of dowry harassment. She said that her in-laws along with her husband used to harass her physically and mentally for dowry. Her in-laws have also made serious allegations like assault and abetment of suicide.

Garima Tiwari told that she was married to Amit Mishra, resident of Mirpur Cantt under Railbazar police station on 26 April 2021 at Kanpur Club. Garima alleges that her in-laws were demanding a Honda City car and Rs 10 lakh as dowry. He said that he bid farewell after paying Rs 2.5 lakh. After the farewell, she went to her in-laws’ house in RBI Colony, Kidwai Nagar. Garima alleged that her in-laws were pressurizing her for more dowry. Garima Tiwari said that she does modeling and whatever money she earned from modeling, her husband Amit Mishra used to snatch it. Along with this, her husband Amit Mishra used to abuse and beat her after drinking alcohol and also kept her hungry for many days. Garima said that due to mental stress, she had once attempted suicide by drinking phenyl, due to which she had to be admitted to the hospital. Feelkhana resident Garima Tiwari has filed a complaint in the court against husband Amit Mishra, mother-in-law Beena Mishra, father-in-law Shashikant Mishra, brother-in-law Amar Mishra, sister-in-law Ritu Mishra and sister-in-law Swati Mishra. Let us tell you that Amit Mishra is a resident of Kanpur and currently he is working in RBI. He has been a part of Rajasthan team in IPL 2014.
