Emergency vehicles including firefighters swarmed a quiet residential street following reports of a building fire. Scottish Fire and Rescue (SFRS) confirmed on Tuesday evening they are attending the scene at Carnoustie Street in Tradeston, a residential district just south of the river from Glasgow central.
Multiple emergency vehicles could be seen in the area, including firefighters and police vans. Pictures from the scene, shared with our sister site GlasgowLive, show the 999 vehicles lined up in the street.
A spokesperson for Scottish Fire and Rescue stated: "Scottish Fire and Rescue units are currently in attendance at Carnoustie Street in Glasgow. Six appliances and specialist resources are on site following reports of a building fire."
