Thorpe St Andrew School stabbing LIVE: Teen girl injured with lockdown in place

Police have launched an urgent hunt for a suspect after a teenage girl suffered injuries in a stabbing at Thorpe St Andrew School near Norwich, Norfolk Police said. A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent after a teenage girl was stabbed at a school near Norwich, according to the force.
The boy has been taken to Wymondham police investigation centre for questioning. The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries and the school has been placed in lockdown, according to the BBC. Laundry Lane, the road which the school is on, has been closed.
