Mother's Day is this Sunday, which means the last-minute rush to find a gift is well and truly on if you've left things until now. And if you're planning to buy something online, it's worth keeping a close eye on those final postage dates to make sure your present actually arrives in time. Perfume can make an extra-special Mother's Day gift because it feels that little bit more personal than a usual bunch of flowers. Right now, Superdrug is offering discounts of up to 55% on an array of designer fragrances for Mother's Day. So if your mum already has a signature scent and it's included, it could be a great chance to snap it up for a fraction of the usual price. And with the money saved, you could even add a little something extra to her present.

Of course, if you aren't buying for a mum this year, the sale is still a pretty tempting opportunity to treat yourself instead. There are lots of big names included in the discounts, including Versace, Ghost, Miu Miu and Lancome, although prices and savings vary depending on the brand.

And if you're worried about timing, there are still a few handy delivery options. Superdrug offers quick in-store pickup from as little as 30 minutes if the item is in stock. Alternatively, you can choose next day order and collect when you place your order Monday to Friday before 5pm. There's also next-day delivery straight to your door, or you could even have it sent directly to your mum's house if you won't be seeing her in person. Next-day delivery is available Monday to Friday when you order before 8pm and costs £4.90.
