Gemini now understands commands like 'Turn off the kitchen'
Commands like "Turn off the kitchen" now only affect lights in that room, not random plugs or gadgets.
Gemini is also better at figuring out what's what—so even if your lamp is called "Table Glow," it'll still know it's a light.
Everyday tasks like reminders, timers, music, and routines should work more smoothly too.
Google expanded Nest x Yale Lock support, and added new automation starters (for example, 'When the security system is armed...'),
plus Google Home Premium Advanced subscribers can use Live Search to have Gemini answer questions about the current state of your home via Nest Cameras (rather than explicitly viewing live camera feeds).
