RWF Apprentice Recruitment 2026: In most places, prior experience is a prerequisite for starting a career. If you, too, require experience to secure a job, you can join the apprenticeship training program at the Rail Wheel Factory (RWF). You will have the opportunity to acquire technical skills free of cost, while also earning a handsome monthly stipend. Upon successful completion of the training, the company will issue you an apprenticeship certificate, which you can subsequently utilize to secure future employment opportunities. A total of 190 vacancies are being filled through this recruitment drive.

Eligibility Criteria for Rail Wheel Factory Apprenticeship
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th standard examination (or an equivalent examination) from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Additionally, candidates must possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade, duly recognized by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).

Age Limit: Applicants must be 15 years of age but must not have exceeded 24 years of age. The age limit will be calculated as of March 1, 2026. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be granted as per government norms: 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

How much Stipend will be received during the Rail Apprenticeship?
Stipend: During the apprenticeship training period, the company will provide a monthly stipend of ₹12,261 to apprentices in the Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Turner, Electrician, and Electronic Mechanic trades. Meanwhile, the monthly stipend for the CNC Programming-cum-Operator trade will be ₹10,899. Selection Process: A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the 10th grade.
Application Fee: ₹100; there is no fee for SC/ST/Differently-abled/Female candidates.
Required Documents: 10th-grade marksheet, National Trade Certificate, Caste Certificate, two self-attested passport-sized photographs, and other documents relevant to additional qualifications.
Application Deadline: April 1, 2026
Merit List Publication Date: 45 days after the application period concludes.
Training Commencement Date: 15 days after the publication of the merit list.
