This is the side-splitting moment a prankster father left his son utterly mortified at airport security.

Ted Andressen, from New Orleans in Louisiana, smuggled a 12-inch sex toy into his son's hand luggage - accompanied by a pot of lubricant.

The stunned airport officer struggles to contain her grin when she retrieves the embarrassing item from his bag.

Father Ted shared the clip on Facebook with the caption: "When you plant a 12 inch dildo and lube in your sons carry on. Priceless."

He began recording his son, who has not been named, and patiently waited for the female security officer to uncover the unexpected sex toy.

Initially she produces a neck pillow and then a clear bag designated for liquids.

That's when the young chap clocks the sex toy for the first time.

He whips round to the queue behind him with a look of absolute horror and humiliation plastered across his face and attempts to conceal his embarrassment.

The group manning the camera are howling with laughter as even the airport officer begins to crack up.

She says: "Look at you, you don't know what's in your bag."

The utterly mortified son eventually turns towards the camera and declares: "A**holes."

A member of the party then steps forward and gives him a consoling hug.

He then cottons on to how the sex toy ended up in his bag and exclaims: "That's why you all wanted me to go and smoke a cigarette."

A man can then be heard apologising: "Sorry for wasting your time ma'am," as she repacks his belongings.
