The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has successfully concluded the Class 10 and other board examinations across the state. According to board officials, this year's examinations were held between February 12 and March 11, and the entire process was completed peacefully. The Board's focus now shifts to declaring the results as soon as possible. Officials have indicated that if the evaluation work is completed on schedule, the Class 10 results could be released by March 20. Several technical and administrative measures were also implemented to ensure the examination process remained transparent and secure.
**Class 10 Board Exams Concluded; Results Expected Soon**
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education has completed this year's board examinations. In a press conference, Board Secretary Gajendra Singh Rathore announced that the 2026 examinations were conducted from February 12 to March 11. The examinations concluded peacefully at all centers across the state.
According to the Board, a total of 1,068,078 students registered for the Class 10 examinations this year. Meanwhile, 909,087 students appeared for the Higher Secondary level examinations (Class 12). Additionally, 7,811 students applied for the Praveshika examination, and 4,122 students applied for the Varishtha Upadhyay examination.
**Strict Surveillance to Ensure Exam Transparency**
To maintain a fair and disciplined examination process, joint flying squads comprising officials from the Education Department and the Board conducted continuous inspections. Inspection teams, led by approximately 150 Joint Directors and District Education Officers, were formed to visit various examination centers and monitor the arrangements. Special flying squads constituted by the Board also took immediate action upon receiving complaints, visiting the concerned examination centers to conduct investigations whenever necessary.
**Monitoring Conducted via Control Room and CCTV**
To oversee the examinations, a modern Central Examination Control Room was established at the Board headquarters. This control room remained active 24 hours a day until the conclusion of the examinations, with monitoring continuing even on public holidays. In this control room, information received from examination centers and CCTV cameras was monitored via large screens and approximately 30 laptops. A total of 274 CCTV cameras were installed across the 167 examination centers. Additionally, a separate control room equipped with five telephone lines was operated to handle inquiries and information related to the examination.
**Evaluation Underway; Results Expected by March 20**
To ensure the secure storage of answer sheets and to facilitate a systematic evaluation process, the Board has established 66 collection centers across the state. Centralized evaluation centers have also been set up for the scrutiny of answer scripts, where approximately 30,915 teachers are currently evaluating the answer sheets. The Board aims to complete the evaluation process expeditiously and declare the Class 10 results by March 20.
