What is posture corrector belt?
A posture corrector belt is an elastic or fabric device worn around the shoulders and back. Its main function is to pull your shoulders back and create an outward pressure to keep the spine straight. doctors opinion
According to experts, posture belt is not a fix (permanent solution) but a reminder. When you wear it it can make your muscles lazy instead of activating them.

muscle weakness
If you remain supported by a belt all day, your back muscles stop working hard to keep themselves straight. This can make them even weaker over time.
muscle stiffness
This limits your body’s natural mobility, which can lead to stiffness in the neck and shoulders.
dependency
The body becomes dependent on the belt instead of being naturally balanced.
Is it really beneficial?
Posture belts can be helpful for people who are not conscious of their incorrect sitting posture. It is recommended to wear it for only 15 to 30 minutes a day so that your brain receives signals about what correct posture looks like. But wearing it for hours in the gym or office can be harmful to health.
Doctors believe that the only permanent way to correct a bent back is through exercise and conscious effort. Only exercises that strengthen your core muscles, yoga and stretching can keep your spine straight naturally. Apart from this, taking breaks every 30 minutes during work and improving the ergonomics of your desk is the most effective solution.
