Urai. The crime rate in the city is escalating, as evidenced by a recent incident near a police station where two motorcycle-riding assailants snatched a bag from a woman in broad daylight. The altercation resulted in the woman sustaining severe injuries, ultimately leading to her death.

Following the incident, panic ensued in the area, leaving the victim's family in deep distress.

According to reports, the woman was on her way to the market when she reached the vicinity of the police station. At that moment, two men on a bike approached her and attempted to forcibly take her bag. When she resisted, they yanked it hard, causing her to fall and suffer a serious head injury.

The assailants fled the scene immediately after the attack. Bystanders quickly assisted the woman and rushed her to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, the doctors pronounced her dead upon examination. The news of her death plunged her family into mourning, with relatives visibly distraught.
