Jisoo Joins BTS Celebration on Netflix

For K-pop enthusiasts, witnessing Blackpink's Jisoo dance to BTS's hit track 'Dynamite' is a dream come true. Netflix has made this fantasy a reality! The streaming giant not only features Jisoo but also showcases stars from various popular shows grooving to the song in anticipation of BTS's grand return. In a playful promotional effort, Netflix India released a video leading up to BTS The Comeback Live | ARIRANG. The highly anticipated 14-track album, titled ARIRANG, is set to launch on March 20, followed by a free concert at Seoul's Gwanghwamun Square the next day. This marks the return of all seven members—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—after nearly four years due to their military service obligations.

BTS's Honmoon Connection

As fans eagerly counted down to the comeback, Netflix India shared a specially edited video on March 14, referencing its Oscar-nominated animated film KPop Demon Hunters. The video hints that the boy band is preparing to seal the Honmoon, a key element in the film's storyline.

Netflix India Shares the Excitement

The nearly 40-second clip features scenes from numerous major titles on the platform, showcasing characters dancing, celebrating, or enjoying 'Dynamite' in the background. The montage includes cleverly selected moments from Stranger Things, KPop Demon Hunters, Squid Game, One Piece, Wednesday, Mask Girl, When Life Gives You Tangerines, Genie Make A Wish, Chicken Nugget, Boyfriend On Demand, Daily Dose Of Sunshine, Can This Love Be Translated, Emily In Paris, Sesame Street, Frankenstein, Enola Holmes, Sweet Home, All Of Us Are Dead, The Glory, and Bridgerton. Notably, Jisoo's character from her recent series Boyfriend On Demand is seen dancing to a BTS song, adding to the excitement.

Desi ARMY's Enthusiastic Response

Netflix India captioned the video on X (formerly Twitter), expressing their excitement. Fans from the Indian ARMY have noted that Netflix India is promoting BTS's comeback with more enthusiasm than even Netflix Korea. Some users have requested a similar edit featuring only Indian-origin shows. One fan commented, "You should create one with just Indian shows and movies; it would be amazing!" Another user expressed, "Out of all your siblings, I think I like you the most, Netflix India." An Indian ARMY member shared, "Dynamite is literally making my heart explode! Can’t wait for OT7!" Another user added, "Bridgerton x BTS crossover is all I needed. My life is complete." This comes shortly after Netflix India's Instagram account shared a video where all seven members greet with a cheerful "Hello India!" as RM reminds fans to tune in for BTS The Comeback Live | ARIRANG.
