Mumbai: Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is likely to play IPL matches, he has joined the Mumbai Indians team. Due to back injury, Bumrah could not play the first four matches of this season. Mumbai Indians gave this information about Bumrah on their social media on Sunday. This fast bowler was injured during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Bumrah was also out of the Champions Trophy due to a lower back injury. He was under rehabilitation at the BCCI Center of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru for the last few days.

Currently the 18th season of IPL is being played. Bumrah is included among the main players of Mumbai team of IPL. In the absence of Bumrah, Mumbai team has not been able to perform well till now. But now with Bumrah returning to the Mumbai team, the bowling of the Mumbai team will become stronger.

Mumbai Indians have to play against Lucknow Supergiants. After this, his next match is to be played with Royal Challengers Bangalore on 7 April. Jasprit Bumrah can be seen bowling soon. In the last few weeks, he has increased his bowling workload at the BCCI Center of Excellence. It is believed that Bumrah is close to passing his final fitness test. Bumrah can join Mumbai Indians next week only after getting the green signal from the medical team. Cricket fans know that Bumrah was injured during the test match against Australia in January. After this he was out of the match and after returning to India, he is undergoing rehabilitation.
