Fire Incident in Andheria Mod Area
In South Delhi, a significant fire broke out in the Andheria Mod area on Sunday morning, resulting in the destruction of approximately 50 shops. According to the Delhi Fire Services, the alarm was raised at 7:37 AM, prompting the dispatch of ten fire engines to the scene to combat the blaze.
The fire not only consumed merchandise but also caused extensive damage to nearby buildings. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries or fatalities so far. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
The flames spread rapidly through the crowded market, enveloping the area in thick smoke. Police teams were also deployed to manage the crowd and assist in extinguishing the fire.
