To facilitate this, the Department of Labour and Employment has partnered with a private firm, which will provide digital skills training to around 100,000 youths.
This training program will equip participants with knowledge of emerging technologies and practical skills, empowering them to tap into the expanding opportunities within the digital economy for employment.
Details of the Agreement
The agreement was formalized during the 'Uttar Pradesh Industry Connect' event held in Mumbai. This initiative is designed to train youth in modern sectors associated with the digital economy. Participants will gain insights into new technologies, helping them to adapt to the evolving job market and enhance their skill sets.
Training Focus Areas
The training will cover several fast-growing digital sectors, including:
1. Cybersecurity
2. Artificial Intelligence
3. Data Analytics
4. Automation
Acquiring skills in these domains is anticipated to significantly boost job prospects for young individuals in both private and technical fields.
Government-Industry Collaboration

Dr. M.K. Shanmuga Sundaram, Principal Secretary of the Department of Labour and Employment, noted that such initiatives are crucial for providing training that aligns with the specific needs of various industries.
