A deeply troubling incident has emerged, leaving the community in shock. A minor girl has reportedly been subjected to prolonged sexual abuse by her stepfather. The police have swiftly intervened, registering a case in response to this alarming situation, which raises serious concerns about the safety of daughters in society.

The family, residing in a small village in Shahuwadi, appeared to lead a normal life. The mother lived with her two children—a daughter and a son. After her second marriage, she hoped for an improved life, but this incident has turned out to be a nightmare for the family.

The accused father devised a calculated plan to conceal his actions. He would assault his minor daughter whenever the house was empty, particularly when the mother and brother were away. He constantly threatened the girl with death, coercing her into silence by also threatening harm to her mother and brother.

After enduring prolonged torment, the victim finally gathered the courage to disclose the truth to her mother when the pain became unbearable. This revelation hit the mother like a bolt from the blue. Medical examinations revealed that the girl was four months pregnant, plunging the entire family into shock.

Without wasting any time, the victim's mother took her to the Shahuwadi police station. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the police promptly registered an FIR. A case has been filed against the accused father under the POCSO Act, and police teams are actively searching for him.

Authorities have assured that there will be no leniency in this case. The victim has been provided with immediate medical assistance and counseling services. Local women's organizations have also pledged to support the victim and her family during this challenging time.
