This sherbet is prepared from milk, melon, rose syrup and sabja seeds, which not only cools the body in summers but also tastes delicious. If you want, you can make it easily at home also.
Ingredients needed to make the syrup of hatred
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 cup ripe melon (mashed)
- 2–3 tbsp rose syrup
- 1–2 tbsp sugar (as per taste)
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- 1–2 tbsp soaked sabja (basil) seeds
- ice cubes
- Chopped dry fruits (almonds, pistachios)
Easy method to make the syrup of hatred
- First of all, mash or lightly blend the ripe melon so that its smooth pulp is prepared. After this, take cold milk in a big vessel and add sugar in it and mix it well.
- Now add melon pulp in milk and mix well. After this, add rose syrup and cardamom powder, which will give fragrance and light pink color to the sherbet.
- Now add soaked sabja seeds and mix gently. To cool the sherbet, add ice cubes to it or keep it in the refrigerator for some time.
- When the sherbet cools down completely, pour it into a glass and garnish with chopped dry fruits and a little rose syrup. In this way your delicious hatred syrup is ready.

The sherbet of hatred is considered beneficial not only for taste but also for health. Drinking it in summer cools the body and keeps it fresh. The melon and cold milk present in it help in reducing body heat and keep the body hydrated. At the same time, Sabja i.e. basil seeds are helpful in improving the digestive system and give coolness to the stomach.
