Mumbai, March 17: The Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI) has released its rankings for the FEI World Dressage Challenge (WDC) 2025, showcasing the remarkable talent of India's young equestrian, Inaara Mehta Luthria, who excelled on an international platform.

At just 15 years old, Inaara, representing the Amateur Riders’ Club in Mumbai, rode her horse, Dasha Deluxe, to achieve an impressive score of 69.875% in the Youth Category (ages 12–16). This performance earned her the top spot in India, first place in FEI Zone 9—which includes India, Singapore, Philippines, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and China—and an impressive sixth place globally.

Inaara was also chosen to be part of Team India, alongside Gaurav Pundir, Miraya R. Dadabhoy, and Samanna Everaa T. The team performed admirably, clinching the top position in FEI Zone 9 and securing seventh place worldwide.

The FEI World Dressage Challenge is a distinctive global initiative aimed at promoting dressage across the globe. This format allows international judges to travel to participating countries throughout the year to assess riders locally, ensuring a consistent standard of judging while minimizing the need for horses and riders to travel abroad. In 2024, Natalia Rubashko from Belarus served as the judge for India.

Inaara Mehta Luthria is currently a student at Hillspring International School. Expressing her gratitude, she stated, “I am incredibly thankful to my parents and my coach, Hriday Chheda, for their unwavering support throughout this journey. The bond I share with my horse, Dasha Deluxe, has greatly enriched my experience and contributed to my success.”

This significant achievement underscores the rising prominence of Indian equestrian talent on the global stage and highlights the country's ongoing advancements in the sport.

Founded in 1942, The Amateur Riders’ Club (ARC) is one of the oldest and largest private civilian horse-riding clubs located at Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai, India. The club offers year-round riding opportunities to both members and non-members and provides professional training in various equestrian disciplines, including Polo, Show Jumping, and Dressage, while housing around 150 horses. For over 84 years, it has been a pivotal force in the growth of equestrian sports.
