Dhurandhar: The Revenge, aka Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh, has delivered a historic opening at the box office, crossing the ₹100 crore mark on Day 1 with earnings of ₹102.55 crore from 21,728 shows across India, making it the biggest opening ever for a Bollywood film.
In doing so, it has surpassed the first-day figures of Jawan, led by Shah Rukh Khan, and also become the only A-rated Indian film to achieve such a massive opening.
Pushpa 2 had earned between ₹70-72 crore on its first day and Dhurandhar: The Revenge has also crossed that.

With an additional ₹43 crore coming from paid previews, the film’s total collection has already reached ₹145.5 crore. Maintaining its strong momentum, Dhurandhar 2 has also outperformed the opening day numbers of Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD, and is now inching closer to overtaking KGF: Chapter 2.
With this phenomenal start, the film has secured its place among the top five biggest opening day grossers in India, joining the likes of Pushpa 2: The Rule, RRR, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, and KGF: Chapter 2.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge has also set a new benchmark by registering the highest-ever paid preview collection for an Indian film, raking in approximately ₹47 crore even before its official release.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh’s First Day CollectionMeanwhile, Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh, which released alongside Dhurandhar: The Revenge, has registered a decent start at the box office. Even before its first show, the film had sold over 41,000 tickets nationwide for Day 1, indicating steady initial interest.
As per early estimates from Sacnilk, the film had earned around ₹9.94 crore by 1 PM on its opening day. It also recorded an overall occupancy of approximately 60.7% across 2,064 shows, reflecting a fairly strong turnout in its initial hours.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge is now eyeing a massive ₹500 crore opening week, with projections suggesting it could go on to touch a staggering ₹2000 crore lifetime total during its theatrical run.
