Jhansi News : Shailendra was married to a young woman from Masiha Ganj on February 19th under the Chief Minister's Mass Marriage Scheme. However, upon receiving the 60,000 rupees from the scheme, his wife eloped with her lover.

The bride disappeared as soon as the money for the mass marriage scheme arrived.

A strange and shocking incident has come to light in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, proving the adage "fall in love with someone and marry someone else" to be true. The incident took place in Khailar village, under the Babina police station area, where a young man named Shailendra married a woman from Masiha Ganj on February 19th under the Chief Minister's Mass Marriage Scheme. The wedding was solemnized with all the rituals and the couple even took the seven vows.

During the wedding itself, the girl's side had stated that the girl would be sent off after a grand reception on April 25th. The boy's side agreed, and after the wedding, the girl returned to her parents' home. But behind this entire event, something else was going on, which no one could have anticipated.

It is reported that on March 10th or 11th, as soon as the girl's 60,000 rupees under the Chief Minister's Mass Marriage Scheme were deposited into her account, she eloped with her lover. Upon learning of this incident, Shailendra became distraught and immediately went to his wife's home, but was told that a missing person report had already been filed and they could do nothing.

After this, the victim approached the police for help, but received no significant assistance from them either. Now, Shailendra wanders around with his marriage certificate in hand, pleading for justice. Shailendra says that after their marriage, his wife never revealed her love for someone else. He even gave her numerous gifts, including a mobile phone, to keep her happy, but he was unaware of this betrayal.
