AP Staff Nurse Recruitment Notification: The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued a notification for the recruitment of Staff Nurse positions on a contractual basis through the Office of the Regional Director of Medical and Health Services, Guntur (Zone-III). Under this recruitment drive, a total of 150 vacant positions will be filled at the Government General Hospital in Piduguralla, Palnadu District. The application process will be conducted offline.

Candidates can download the application form from the official website, cfw.ap.nic.in. The submission of applications is scheduled to commence on March 17, 2026, with the final deadline set for March 25, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria for Application
Candidates must possess a degree in General Nursing and Midwifery (G.N.M.) or B.Sc. (Nursing). Additionally, candidates must hold a valid registration with the Andhra Pradesh Nursing Council or any other relevant council.

The general age limit is 42 years, while the maximum age limit—including for reserved categories—has been set at 52 years. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to various categories in accordance with government regulations.

How ​​will Selection be Conducted?
There will be no written examination for the Staff Nurse positions in Andhra Pradesh. Selection will be determined based on a merit list derived from a total score of 100 marks. Marks will be allocated as follows:

Academic Qualification (75 Marks): Based on the aggregate marks obtained across all years of study in G.N.M. or B.Sc. (Nursing).

Experience (10 Marks): 1 mark awarded for every completed year of service following the acquisition of the nursing qualification.

Contractual Service (15 Marks): Applicable to candidates who have previously worked on a contractual, outsourced, or honorarium basis. This includes service rendered during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Area of ​​Service: Additional marks will be awarded based on the candidate's area of ​​service (Tribal/Rural/Urban) and the duration of such service.

Application Fee
The application fee for the Andhra Pradesh Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026 must be submitted via a Demand Draft (DD), drawn in favor of the concerned Regional Director of Medical and Health Services, Guntur (Zone-III). The application fee for General (OC) candidates is ₹500, while for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Physically Challenged candidates, the fee has been fixed at ₹300.
