Three-day tribal festival in Sonbhadra will start from March 23

The three-day tribal festival will begin from Monday, March 23, at the Sant Keenaram Postgraduate College campus located at district headquarters Lodhi, Sonbhadra. In this, artists from three provinces Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan will show their talent. The program will conclude on Wednesday, March 25.

Organizer of the program and Principal of Sant Keenaram Postgraduate College, Lodhi, Sonbhadra, Dr. Gopal Singh said that a three-day tribal festival program has been organized in the college campus. This event will be organized in collaboration with North Central Region Cultural Center Prayagraj, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, District Administration, Sonbhadra and Sant Keenaram Post Graduate College, Lodhi, Sonbhadra.

Principal Dr. Singh also informed that the program will be inaugurated on Monday, March 23. In this, Alha singing Sharad Anuragi and Dal Mahoba, Karma dance Katwaru Ram and Dal Sonbhadra, Domkach dance Sukkhan and Dal Sonbhadra, Jhumar dance Asha Devi and Dal Sonbhadra, Dharkahari dance Ramdhani Madkuri and Dal Sonbhadra and Chakri Chari Bhavai dance will be presented by Tejkaran and Dal Rajasthan artists.

Similarly, on Tuesday, 24th March, Alha singing by Anjali Singh and Dal Rae Bareli, Reena Shaila dance by Haas Kumar Maravi and Dal Dindori Madhya Pradesh, Garad Baja dance by Sonaram and Dal Sonbhadra, Karma dance by Ram Aadhar and Dal Sonbhadra, Chakri Chari Bhavai dance by Tejkaran and Dal Rajasthan and Gudumbaja will be presented by Likhiram Dhurve and Dal Madhya Pradesh artists. On Wednesday, March 25, Alha singing will be presented by Faujdar Singh and Dal Jaunpur, Karma dance Banarasi and Dal Sonbhadra, Jhinjhi/Holi dance Rajneesh and Dal Pilibhit, Changeli dance Booti Bai and Dal Chitrakoot and Domkach dance by artists Mahendra and Dal Sonbhadra.

With this the program will end. On this occasion, Sudesh Sharma, Director of North Central Region Cultural Center Prayagraj, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, District Magistrate Sonbhadra BN Singh will also be present. Principal Dr. Gopal Singh has urged as many people as possible to attend the program.
