German police have confirmed that they made 152 arrests after a mass brawl between Borussia Dortmund and Hamburg fans. The two teams played each other in the Bundesliga on Saturday at Westfalenstadion, with Dortmund coming out as 3-2 winners.
Reports in Germany claim that fans of both teams clashed in the streets, with many of them wearing masks. It is also claimed that Dortmund supporters attacked the Hamburg buses.
While there is little information on any injuries, it has been confirmed that 152 people were arrested by the police. They have now subsequently been released, although details were taken and criminal proceedings were initiated.

It is claimed that the majority of those arrested were Hamburg fans.
The match saw Dortmund stage a late second-half comeback after being 2-0 down at half time thanks to goals from Philip Otele and Albert Sambi Lokonga. Ramy Bansebaini halved the deficit from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute.
Just five minutes later, Serhou Guirassy equalised for Dortmund. The comeback was complete with six minutes of normal time remaining when Bensebaini scored from the penalty spot again to make it 3-2.

The win means that Dortmund sit in second place in the Bundesliga, eleven points ahead of third-placed RB Leipzig, and nine points behind leaders Bayern Munich.
Less than 24 hours after the win, Dortmund confirmed the departure of sporting director Sebastian Kehl. He has left the club by mutual consent. In a statement, Dortmund wrote: “Borussia Dortmund and sporting director Sebastian Kehl have mutually agreed to part ways.
“We would like to thank Sebastian for his dedication, his commitment to the club, and his achievements, and wish him all the best for the future!”
Dortmund are back in action on Saturday, 4 April (5:30pm kick-off), when they travel to take on Stuttgart in the Bundesliga.
Hamburg, meanwhile, sit in 12th position in the table. They return to action on Saturday, 4 April when they host Augsburg (2:30pm kick-off).
